“[We] do not approve of the Vandalism”

I just want to say personally, and as Chair of the Putnam County Democratic Party, that I do not approve of the vandalism of the Ronald Reagan mural on the Putnam County Republican Headquarters Office. I feel 100% sure that no one affiliated with the Democratic Party in this county was responsible for this action and I condemn it. I respect Ronald Reagan as a former President of our country and I believe in the free exchange of differing ideas and opinions in a respectful manner.

    Shame on the person or persons who are responsible for defacing the painting…I remember back durring 2008 when one of President Obamas campaign signs was defaced. I first felt anger, then sad, because this is not what and who we are. We may fight hard, but we don’t fight dirty.
